I wonder if it was Liverpool-Belfast ferries or another shipping related occupation?

Although it was a earlier time frame ,I know that my OH's family had homes in both Glasgow and Antrim because they worked on the ships that travelled between both cities

My own family moved between Derry and Glasgow because they also worked on the ships.

Does anyone know of any employment opportunities that would have take people from Lancashire to County Antrim Northern Ireland in the 1950s early 1960s Thanks Pam
