It's the only one I can see with a father called Alexander.

There is only about 10 miles between Oswaldtwistle and Goodshaw.

can anyone help find john holland born approximately 1840 in oswaldtwistle on the 1851 census. His father was alexander holland who may have been born approx 1803. Alexander was an engine driver/engineer.
John holland first married sarah ann redman in burnley in 1865 and then elizabeth trevithrick in 1888 after sarah ann had died in 1887 in burnley.

I am presuming that alexander and his family were in oswaldtwistle in 1851 but could also have been in burnley or padiham ?
