Manfred & Christine (Bambrough) -Helgas mum,never got married. We knew about Helgas two birth entries,but I can't find any record either of Christine Bambrough marrying Hatton?

Do you know that Helga's mother actually did marry Manfred (where outside the UK please?,) OR was her mother already still married at the time to Mr. Hatton?

Is she was still married to Mr. Hatton then that could account for the 2 names at birth registration, or, if she and Mr. Hatton had divorced and they she and Manfred were not married, then that would also account for the 2 names.

'Mr Hatton' seems to have re-married in 1974 ?)

THANK YOU everyone.I live in Dalton-in-Furness in Cumbria.I have Helgas address.She married Paul Harris. Manfred didn't marry in Uk.

Helga birth is also reg as hatton

She is in Middlesbrough too in 2002

In 2013 she is in Cumbria

German records are very hard to find as they are held locally to the area. Plus many were lost in the bombings of WW2

As he in your tree did he marry into it . The marriage cert should name his father .if known

He seems to have married someone called Bambrough (mother of Helga), but I can't see a marriage in the UK for them.

I presume you knew this already?

Starting work on the German side of my family tree,& am already struggling to find any info on sites to use etc.Looking for any info on this fellow-or his family members.
He was born in Cel (?) near Stuttgart,Germany in 1935.He's lived in Middlesbrough,UK,since the early 1970s.He has a daughter Helga.Little,if any,is known about the German side.Any help,or info much appreciated.CHEERS.
