Would someone please be kind enough to look up Frederick Jackson (b Derby1885) and his wife Rose Jackson (Derby 1886).

I'm not sure if Frederick died before 1939, They had a son, Roy Jackson in 1928.

It appears there are 3 people in the house and the record is officially closed on one of them. Do you know why this would be.

Ideally I wanted to link Roy Jackson with Frederick and Rose.

Freemd suggests that Frederick Jackson and Rose Bagnell had 3 children in Derby:

Mary Jackson 1912
Frances S Jackson 1918
Roy Jackson 1828

This would suggest that Roy was born when his mother was 42 years old. I just wanted confirmation of this as it looked odd.

No other Roy Jacksons in Derby?

Rose Bagnell is the name recorded at marriage but she was born Rosanna Florence O'Donohoe Bagnell in Derby 1886.

The 1938 census entry that you recorded for Rosanna Jackson looks perfect as does all of your other information you've given .
