Hi, I am looking for information relating to a Mary Metcalfe nee Wilson. From my research so far I have established that she was born in Bolton on 13 Apr 1892. I believe that she married a John R Metcalfe around 1919. She had three children but only two with John Metcalfe. The first was Mary on 23 Mar 1920 (known as Molly) and the second was John R on 10 May 1921 (known as Jack).

My father, Donald, was born on 9 May 1932 in Carlisle, Cumbria and Mary Metcalfe nee Wilson is named on his birth certificate as his mother, living in Beaumont, near Carlisle, Cumbria. There was no father mentioned on his birth certificate but it was not John R Metcalfe.

The 1939 Register shows Mary living with Molly and Jack at 87 Harrowside, Blackpool, which I understand she was operating as a guest house. Mary seems to have had connections with Blackpool as a child which may have led to her return there in the 1930s.

Any information related to Mary, Molly and Jack, particularly after 1939, would be greatly appreciated.
