Marriage of William Mott and Emma Trinder

ProfilePosted byOptionsPost Date

Gerry

Gerry Report 10 Jan 2018 10:44

William was born 6/7/1806 Shoreditch and Emma abt 1809 Holborn.

They had at least 9 children from Isaac in 1831 to Fanny in 1852.

My problem is, I cannot find any record of their marriage, nor a likely record for Emma's birth.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you
Gerry

Quite a big age gap between son George and daughter Matilda.

I wonder if William had been married before??

Hi

All the children were

Isaac 1831
Frederick 1832
William 1833
Emma 1835
George 1837
Phoebe 1840
Eleanor 1843
Matilda 1851

The marriage must be somewhere. I have checked on Ancestry, FMP, Family Search and Free Reg

Gerry ..............

You are wrong in stating that the marriage MUST be somewhere.

The might not have married at all ............... especially if one or both had been married previously.

If they did marry, the records might not yet have been digitised and therefore are not available on the internet.

Just as a note of interest ............

William, Emma and George were all baptised on the same day, June 25 1837, but no birth dates are given for them

Address:- Cardigan Street
Father's Occupation:- Gold & Silver Paper Maker
