So she says her birth is 15.8 1882 which means it should be reg in sept or Dec qtr

Sept qtr would be a bit tight for her birthday as the ladies usually had a six week laying in time after the birth which is why the 6 weeks to register a birth was brought in

So could be either of these

Births Sep 1882
Davies Jane Dolgelly 11b 388

This reg district covers Barmouth
GRO record showing illegitimate
DAVIES, JANE - Order
GRO Reference: 1882 S Quarter in DOLGELLEY Volume 11B Page 388

Or the only other one but it doesn't cover the areas she says born

Births Dec 1882
Davies Jane Festiniog 11b 391

Hi
I am trying to find information on my Uncle Henry Etherington born in Oldham c1908, his mother was Jane Etherington (my grandmother) His fathers name could/maybe be Henry Etherington who married Jane Davies in 1909. on the 1911 census he is listed as step-son, and name listed as Henry Davies Etherington.

Does the marriage cert show any relations as witnesses

What is her date of birth on the 1939 register

It's not unusual for a father's name to be made up to save face when illegitimate or for another male family member to be named again just to indicate born in wedlock
