Looking at the GRO index the mother's maiden name for the children on that 1911 census seems to be Rothwell although Alfred was born in Derbyshire not Yorkshire. On the census Mary states married 12 years, 7 children born, 3 living and 4 had died.

Not seeing Alfred and Mary on the 1901 census or a marriage for them.
