Marriage Record 1881

Thanks for all the help to answer my previous question about a 1911 marriage.

It's supplied me with two new names Charles Williams and Martha Griffiths who married in 1881, in Liverpool

If anyone fancies pursuing their line backwards to try and find parents, grandparents etc. Then any help happily received. Another question to follow...

If you buy the marriage certificate it will give you their fathers' names.

It might have been best if you had kept to your other thread that you posted today Fetlar.

I know, but this info is for a younger relative, who cannot afford to be buying certificates if she's not 100% sure. So was just looking for help.

Unfortunately, if you want to build an accurate family tree, then at some point you have to start buying certificates. This is not an easy or cheap undertaking.

Over the 15 years I have been looking into my family history I have spent literally thousands of pounds when you add up, certificates, subscriptions, books, travelling and lots of other things.
