Find Ancestors

Hi Everyone,
I am trying to find when Eliza BENDLE (nee WAY) born 1819 Tolpuddle and husband George BENDLE went to South Africa. Also Eliza's younger brother James WAY born 1832 went also but probably not at the same time.
George and Eliza is supposed to have had several children but I can only find Elizabeth .... Any thoughts please.

A tree on Ancestry says George (born 1817) died Eastern Cape, South Africa, in 1872.

If that's accurate, it gives us a time-frame - between 1842 and 1872.

No DOB, so can't prove from this that he's the same man, but presumably this is the record the tree owner is going by:

Trees on Ancestry state 1817 (Tolpuddle???) I have checked Tolpuddle and no such baptism there. We know his father was Charles BENDLE and his wife was Eliza WAY. There is a George BENDLE in East Tytherley Hampshire.

Could this be your James Way in 1871 ?? A butcher?

If it is then Bendle can be spelt several ways Bendell, Bendall etc.

Stockbridge covers Wiltshire and Hampshire.

I don't see George or Eliza in 1851 - perhaps they'd already gone to SA ?
Can't see Elizabeth in 1851 either.

Can't see travel records for them, nor for James.

The first being baptised in 1846, which means they emigrated somewhere between 1843 and 1846."
