Presumably she didn't want to appear older than Thomas.

Interesting, marriage states she is 44yrs old so birth year abt. 1883.
As she was older than she said, I would think it highly unlikely that the couple would have had any children.

I don't see Susan in censuses after 1901.
Can you post the 1911 and 1921 censuses you found, please, John?

There are several possibilities for Thomas in censuses

After a long search I have just found a marriage lic for my relative Thomas Smith born 1887 in Staffordshire England. The lic is for Thomas Smith & Susan Maude Kerr to marry in Ontario Canada in 1927.I have the 1891,1901 census in England and two likely entries for 1911, 1921 in Canada. I would like to find out if they stayed in Canada and if so possible children and death/burial records. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
