So the two closed records n 1939 are Edna and Eric. I made an assumption which I should not have

What was Samuel's occupation as per the marriage cert?

Who were the witnesses?

I wonder if you have the correct family for Edward, you are going by aunts/uncles - but Edna also had a sister Lilian (b1909) - and they could also be aunts/uncles by marriage? Is there anything else to tie your Edward to the family you think it is, other than his fathers name of Samuel?
