That has to be the one as the address is correct but the other one with the 'Pretty's' fits too :-S

It is not unknown for people to be recorded twice on a census - once where they are visiting and once back home with their family !!, but it does seem strange?

From memory, I think there were 3 or maybe 4 marriages for a James Wilson to a Mary Ann around same time and place so we have to go carefully.

Linda Report 7 Mar 2018 04:19

Hi all I am trying to help my husband learn more about his relatives and seem to be struggling to find any information out about his great great grandfather and family. His name is Charles Frederick Wilson and I have found he was born in 1842 at St Paul Convent Garden, Strand, Middlesex, England and married to Sarah Galliott in 1863 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia but seem to hit a stumbling block to go back any further or forward with his children. Can anyone help please. thanks in advance.
