Need a bit of help please!
I'm helping someone look for a marriage for her ancestors, Sarah Ann Birch & James Colquhoun. He was born in Ireland, and so was their oldest son, so I looked at Ancestry's Irish records.
There is a marriage in 1890 for a Sarah A. Birch in Londonderry. On the page is a James Colhoun, so I wondered if this might fit. There are a lot of other names tho!
The oldest son was Samuel Colquhoun born 1891 but I can't find any birth record for him. There's a Samuel Colhoun born Londonderry 1891, but I'm really not sure about this.
I'm just wondering if there are any resources out there - such as parish records - which could either track down Samuel's birth, or reveal who Sarah Birch married in 1890.
