Peterkin served in the highlander about 1915

looking for any information about a fellow Peterkin only know surname he served in the first world war in the highlanders (he was killed) he had a relationship with my grandmother and a son was born in 1916 we don't think he never knew before he died he was going to be a father, if anyone knows of any information it would be lovely to hear from them
