wow!!

what a coincidence!!

We were sitting in our cabin with no phone connections and limited radio connections listening to all the reports and wondering which way it was going to go. We were about 60 km NE of 100M, just outside the western edge of Wells Gray and N of Canim Lake.

We drove over and through the area the next year and were astounded at how far it had gone, and how it had jumped the river and the highway.

We sold the cabin in 2014, and I think it is still safe after last year, although the last evacuation zone that I saw came within 15 km.
