Bearing in mind this was war time, I wonder if Peter J was American and went back there after the war, like Dea said there is absolutly nothing on him apart from the ER and marriage. There is a Peter J showing up in US records but I don't have world wide for ancestry so can't check them.

Added, I'm not sure about this but don't think he would have appeared on the ER if not a british subject?

Greta remarried in 1947. Stevenson was her maiden name Don't know where Lively went.

I think Greta remarried in 1947 to a Parry - freebmd records the marriage with her name as Lively and also Stevenson.

Sorry, I'm just being really nosey here but I note that there is absolutely no other mention of this Peter J Lively anywhere at all ever !! (records, newspapers, census, BMD's etc).

This also appears to be the case for Greta after she married him and for their son (other than his birth reg).

Do you know what happened to them all or is it a 'complete' mystery?

Well, he's not with these people on the 1939 register but these are their details if it helps:

Just found Osborne Road in Wisbech which is where he got married,

town is Wisbech on 1939 register and the ER

The Noys are still at the same address on the 1939 register, but no Peter and no closed records.

That is most likely the one, was hoping it would give me town & other family members.

Hi Flip, I just put Peter J Lively in the search box & that he had lived in Cambridgeshire & it brought up a Peter Lively living in Cambridgeshire in 1839, Hoping it is the sameone as got married to Greta Stevenson. Sorry don't know any other members of family, hoping it will tell me.

Is this the record you have found (it's not the 1939 register though, sorry I misread your opening post):

Also at the same address was William and Margaret Noy.

I've tried searching but Ancestry is not showing a Peter Lively anywhere, have you spelt it correctly? Or do you have any other family members living with him that I can try to search on?

Added: There's no Peter Lively coming up on FMP either.

Could someone with Ancestry sub. please look up Peter Lively on 1939 Electorial Register. Done the search, he was living in Cambridgeshire.
