Hi,
I'm looking for any information regarding Olive Violet Meaden (maiden name Fewtrell)
She was the Biological mother of my Grand Father who never knew her.
My Grand Father was born to Olive at Bovington Camp Hospital in 1944 with no father mentioned on the birth certificate. My Grand Father was later adopted by who we believe to be the mother of my Grand Fathers Biological Father although this may not be accurate.
This being because none of this adopted family would ever speak of his parents even though my Grandfather believed they did know the whole story.
The only information I can find out about Olive is that she was born in 1912 to Elizabeth Preston (unable to find father), lived around the Wareham area in Dorset and passed away there in 1993. She was married to a Charles William Meaden who was born 1911 and passed away in 1954, I do not believe him to be my Grandfathers father however.
As you can appreciate this is an emotional subject to talk about, my Grandfather knowing that his mother may have not known of his whereabouts/wellbeing for all of those years,
Any help would be appreciated,

Just out of interest, Kezia R Preston on the 1939 register looks to be the Grandmother not Aunt of the Preston children.
