Thank you! I came across the name Bilson earlier as a possibility but I'd never heard of it before today. It all looks very much like it lines up and looks like Alfred was in fact his middle name. I'm going to send everything over to my Mum and see if anything rings a bell with her.

I am looking for any information on my great-grandfather Alfred. I know his daughter was Linda Jean Green b.09/08/1930 d.1975. She was married to Cyril Alvey. My mother's name (maiden) was Carolyn Teer b.19/12/1955. I have tried searching BMD records but am drawing a blank so far and the only person in the family who knew all the family history was my uncle Frank who sadly passed away earlier this year. Any help is greatly apprciated, thanks.
