not a good idea to post full details of births of people who may still be living.

Wow thank you all so much, as Margaret has now passed away, I will have to bite the bullet as speak to her son ( didnt really want to do that) Margaret was my aunt.
Once again thank you all so much you have been really helpful, I should be able to patch it all together now with the help of my cousin

Use the free site - freebmd to look for a marriage between a male Ashworth and a female Barnes prior to the birth of the first child. Will give possibilities, although they may not have married in same area as births

Haslingden RD covers Bacup

Buying a birth certificate for one of the children will confirm parents names.

(There are possibilities of other births 1923, 1925, 1928 same RD but there are also other Ashworth/Barnes marriages).

This free site, shows David's birth registered Rawtenstall sub district not Bacup sub district, (but both Haslinden RD). The 2 places are about 5.4 miles apart

I need help in finding the parent full names please
