	From the image of the marriage: The church was St John the Baptist, Thaxted Groom was from the parish of Great Dunmow Bride was from the parish of Thaxted Marriage was by Licence Witnesses: John Williamson (a witness to many marriages at this time), John Hart. The bride's surname was definitely Bowtell. Although the w looked like an n, it was the same as the w in Dunmow.

Member Since: January 2006 Posts: 143 Send Message	Hi Genes members, I have in my tree a Isaac Aylett born around 1798 in Middlesex England, so far so good. I have him married to a Martha Bowtell, now I cant remember where I got her maiden name from, or if its right, I don't have any info on their marriage. Can someone please look in Ancestry to see if I'm right. I got the name Martha from family search with their 8 children that's right, just forgot to write down where I got the maiden name from any help would be appreciated. Jill
