I am looking for a 1948 address "Fern Villa" Goyt Crescent Stockport, not sure if it has a house number now ? Is anyone able to find this address on the electoral register for 1948 to see who was living there. ? Thank you Pam

I also wanted to find out what house number Fern Villas may have now, as I googled it but only get house numbers. May be I will have to contact the local council. I know it was still Fern Villa in 1948

Looking at the 1939 schedule for the houses were numbered but it looks like there was a terrace of houses that were called *villas* within the same side of the road , which was quite common...….and the number of Fern Villa could have been No 20 and situated within Goyt Cresent ,,,

I think Kay???? is right. Looking on the 1939 register image, the house next to Fern Villa is called Hurstwood and that name can still be seen on number 22 Goyt Crescent today on Streetview, so I would say Fern Villa is number 20. The houses are all semi-detached.
