The one who died in 1977 is more of a problem.

I don't see the birth of a George Luther Jackson at any time in the UK.

There are several birth records for children named George Jackson in and around 1899, in various places - but impossible to tell which might be him.

In addition, if the DOB given on his death record is not correct, there are these slight possibilities:

I don't see his death -
but - wrong DOB for the George Luther who died in 1977 - and in any case, no mention of the name George in any of the records.

There are three other names at 8 Foxberry Road, but looks like they're all in different flats.

Or there's this man.
At first I thought he might be the Luther Jackson born 1900, whom I couldn't find after his army record in 1918 - but DOB is very different, and much nearer to that of George Luther who died in Torbay.
