Afternoon

I have been looking for MARY WINSTANLEY on the 1841 census but not having any luck

this is what I know do far.

Mary Winstanley born c 1816 Orrell Wigan Lancashire
I have no parents and her birthdate is from the 1851 census

Mary never married and had 3 children

Jane c1835
John c1844
Thomas c1847

She did have some connection with a man called Thomas Melling but they never married .

Her son Thomas Winstanley married Mary Jane Turner in 1883 and on his marriage record it states father Thomas Melling Deceased.

Her son John Winstanley also married in 1883 and again named father Thomas Melling deceased.
John married Elizabeth Melling but cant find any connection to Thomas Melling

I have Mary and her children on the 1851 census and can find some of them Living with a Thomas Melling on the 1861.
It says that Thomas Melling is their grandfather.

But I cant find anything of Mary Winstanley before or after 1851 census
