I have Susanna in my tree but I cannot find her in 1881 anywhere also her three youngest children Mabel Hey DYKES Ethel Susan DYKES John Arthur St OSWALD DYKES She had become a widow then and might have left the country but is back for 1891 Thank you

Lots on J B Dykes found by googling. In 1875 he seemingly went to Switzerland for his health. No one seems to have Susanna, Ethel or John in 1881 though.
Touchingly, he shares a grave with his youngest daughter, Mabel, who died, aged 10, of scarlet fever in 1870. Dykes's grave is now the only marked grave in what, in recent years, has been transformed into a children's playground.
