The birth and baptism clearly indicate illegitimacy - the image of the baptism shows that the vicar started to write the name 'Henry', then crossed it out. |

Do you have a copy of the marriage certificate? This would not only give you the fathers name but also his occupation - which might prove helpful in finding him. |
