Find Ancestors

Hi I'm on ancestry and have a 1939 register for a Harold Kinley 1889 Salford Lancashire and his wife Annie G Scattergood 1884 living in Hove Sussex
On the form it has 2 Children blanked out I'm wondering if another site has the same copy but with the names showing ?
I found they had possibly twins in 1915 but both died as babies I've looked on BMD but nothing

So if anyone can look on FMP or any other site to see if they have anything

I only have access to Ancestry, but the 2 blanked out entries might not be children. They could be other extended family or even lodgers whose deaths registrations have not been picked up.

Have you looked for Wills for the couple in case some other names are mentioned?

No I haven't looked for wills I'll try that

I think Sylann has found those details but is wondering whether the two closed records are other children the couple may have had.

There are no other births showing for Kinley/ Scattergood so would assume these records are not for any children they had together.

I apologise if I have misread this and agree that getting possibly the death certificates would clear up any doubt if it is the twins that you are wondering about.

As alviegal so rightly says, the query is about the identities of the subjects of the two closed records, which it isn't possible to establish, as there are no other recorded births with the relevant surname combination.

I had a look at Harold's military record on Ancestry to see if any children were listed.

As he enlisted after the birth and deaths of the children found, they were not recorded, but the date and place of his marriage is shown.
No further children recorded.
