Thank you Erika and Maddie I am just reading though the list now to put family altogether ,Dorothy told me their surname may have been changed to Hulme as one of ancestors lived there ,and changed their name to this village as they had a Jewish name early 1800s this would be very interesting if there was Jewish ancesters ,would I have to go to a special record office to find this out ,regards sandra

Unless they changed the name by Deed Poll, there won't be any official record.

You need simply to work back carefully through census and BMD records.
