Member Since: June 2004 Posts: 0 Send Message	HI, i have been a Astbury by marriage for the last 22 years, and am trying to make a family tree for the grandchildren. My husband was born in Edlington Doncaster in 1944 and his father ( Herbert Thomas) we believe was also born here in 1910, but we are unable to trace his birth certificate. Also his father (William Astbury) came to Edlington in approx 1900 for the sinking of the pit. Where did he come from, there is also some doubt as ifto his name was Astbury at that time.........
