Am trying to find any information on 'Catherine Cumerford', stage actress in London around turn of 20th century, not technically married but had 7 children with Mr ? Martin of London, and was known as Margaret Martin. Only three children survived, Frank, Rita and Bert. (Frank was my paternal grandfather, and married my grandmother Margaret Williams from Yorkshire, who was his 2nd wife). Margaret/Catherine was born in Southern Ireland somewhere, and died April 11 1933, buried by Ashton's funeral directors of SE London, and was buried in Matcham Cemetery. Would love to hear from you if you have any information, or possible connection. |
