Member Since: May 2007 Posts: 0 Send Message	kirsten mead. i'm trying to trace my maternal ancesters in the name of knights. my grandmother was ethel, and she had 3 sisters mercy, lilian, and nell(ellen or helen). she also had 2 brothers names unknown. mercy was born in1879 and at the age of 22 was employed as a domestic servant to a family named hunt in pathfield road, possibly in streatham. she married alfred carpenter. i believe the family were living in brixton when the mercy and ethel were born.
