Member Since: October 2005 Posts: 0 Send Message	Clare Currie Looking for information: John Drane m Rebecca McCormack I believe she was born in Ulster, Ireland. They had 3 children. John Drane born 14-01-1865 in Kent England, John Currie Died 22-11-1916 He left the UK went to South Africa then on to Australia where I believe he was a shearer, then came to New Zealand, where he married Mary Agnus Jeffares, they lived in Wanganui, N.Z. Have been told he had a sister living in Australia. For some unknown reason he changed his name from Drane to Currie Any information would be of interest.
