My younger brother's ex-wife had a Warnes grandfather who was from Norwich, which ties in with the message Valerie posted. I have been in touch with my ex-sister-in-law, but don't think she has as yet done much research on her Warnes ancestors, but I could contact her if you like.

Hello, Dont know if it helps, one of my grandfathers sister s either Laura or Ruth married a Henry Warnes from Norfolk, they settled in the North of England.

hello my father was also a warnes ...... looking at my family tree his grandfather was english thou my dads family was scotish leith in edinburgh ......but im sorry to say it can be a common name hope this helps

I am trying to find any information on the Warnes family, my mothers maiden name was Warnes she married my father who was a Webster from Canada he was in the Canadian army in the second world war stationed over here please can any one help me thank you
