Hi Heather,

Can't remember if we have contacted each other before. Anyway, I always like to hear about our family so anything new you have found out is always of interest to me.
Best Regards

My great-great grandfather came up from the south of England as a navvie on the Settle-Carlisle railway (mid Nineteenth century). Met his wife in Settle and the family eventually moved to Barnoldswick, West Riding of Yorkshire. Interested to hear from any other Sheldricks. I have a theory on our surname origin - it doesn't involve ducks!
