Member Since: January 2005 Posts: 5 Send Message	Hi Rebecca, Katherin Benet, born 1756 in North West France, married by 6g uncle, Joseph Ewbank, (born 1750, probably in Barnard Castle), at Marylebone on 9th Feb 1775. They lived in London in the late 1770's and went to NW France in the 1780's. In retrospect, both families being relatively wealthy, that was probably not a very wise move, as the French Revolution began in 1789! Katherin died in , ,1792 in Beuvages, France. Tey had ffour children: Alexandre George (1775-76), Joseph 1777, Ann Maria (1778), JamesThomas (1779) Do these fit with any of your Benets? Best wishes, Pat

Member Since: July 2003 Posts: 7 Send Message	is anyone related or know anything about the BENET family louis benet had 11 brothers and sisters some were born in FRANCE he was born in london whithin sound of bow bells.he was a high up freemason,and a dentist.he had brothers gus and cassimir,both dentists.cassimir lived in ealing.thier parents were born in france.louis was grand master ofthe eclectic lodge london. any info would be much appreciated thankyou rebecca
