Trying to find any infomation about a John Whitfield Turner, he was my grandfather and was married to a Mary Jane Foster. My grandfather died on the 5th April 1930 and he lived in Ashton-under-Lyne Lancashire. Is birth certificate says he was born on the 12th October 1877 and was regestered in Stoke on Trent. Would love to know how he came to live in Ashton, and are there any distance family in the Stoke area. M. Harper. nee; Turner
