I know it's a long time since you posted this thread. My Great Great Grandfather Isaac Reid Married an Amelia Tapp who I believe came from Dodbrooke, Devon. Not sure where this is but I suspect its near Plymouth as that is were she met my ancestor. I believe she belonged to a family of methodist who effectively started this church in Devon (this information was kindly shared by someone else who had a common ancestor to me) Her only Male siblings were John. Samuel, James & William. She also had sisters but obviously the name would have been married out,so to speak.

My great grandfather was George Knight married to Charlotte Tapp born approx. 1880 they lived in east london. Charlotte Knight is buried in West Ham Cemetry.
They had one daughter my grandmother Caroline Knight born 1901 married name Caroline Parrot she married my grandfather THOMAS PARROTT. They had a daughter Caroline another daughter my mum Betty and a son Thomas . My grandmother Caroline Knight (married name parrott) died aged 31 on Christmas day in 1932.
Does any of this ring any bells with you ?

My maiden name was Tapp, I have traced my family back to 1790 in North Molton, Devon. Anyone who thinks their related please contact me.
