Sorry Catherine I am only looking for Rowleys - my reference to Parish was as in the local area records - that sort of Parish. Apologies if that wasnt clear.

I am still trying to fathom my Rowley link - I thought I had found my Suzanne's family but it turns out there were 2 Suzannas born around the same date and its not clear which one mine is.

If anyone can clear that one up for me Id be most grateful.

best wishes

Catherine

Hi Helen,
I have already tried to send an email, so appologies if you have received this twice.
I just can't beleive that you are researching both Rowley and Parrish (Parish).
My husbands ancestors are from Burslem surname Rowley, I am a Parrish (Spelt with a double 'R') and have done quite a lot of research on both. I am sure we must have some mutual ancestors (at least I hope so).
I do hope you are still checking out this site, and I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind Regards,
Cath

Id be interested to speak to anyone who has Rowleys from Burslem in Staffs. Ive searched the Parish records on Ancestry and think Ive found as many as I can that I link to - but it would be great to swap notes.
