My great great grandfather JOSEPH COOPER b 1814 in Barking, Essex was apprenticed as a carpenter to ROBERT SAGGERS who left his undertaking business in Barking to Joseph. This firm J Cooper & Son still exist today and is owned by a family member. On Joseph's marriage record at St Margaret's Barking in 1836, Robert is mentioned as his uncle. From Robert's will it appears that Joseph's wife MARY ANN BARRELL is a niece through Robert Saggers wife. Does anyone have any connection or info on these families. Pam in Brisbane Australia
