Hello Lisa, This is one of those "long shots".
You may be aware of the Charnock family history.
Heath Charnock, Lancashire which is near Chorley
was the ancestral home. Their mansion is I believe
now used by the council or maintained by them.
The Charnock family were Lords of the Manor many
years ago. Try contacting Chorley Council who would
no doubt guide you to the appropiate historians for
further information. Regards. Cyril

Hello. I'm looking for information on the Charnock family in Warrington. I do not have much information left to me by my grandad but he was one of 12 children ( Annie, Elizabeth, William, John, Richard, Henry, James, Walter, Jennie, Arthur, Nellie, May.). My grandad was Arthur and his twin was Nellie, but she died at the age of two from a head injury. My grandads parents were William Charnock and Elizabeth Ann Whittaker. If anyone has any information at all that could add to my current knowledge I would be very greatfull.
