My grandfather was henry George White Wilkie who left for South Africa seven days after my father was born in 1921. There was at least one of his brothers in Aberdeen as the family came from AUchtermuchty and were related to Whites Weighing machines which is still there. Henry gave his address as King Street Aberdeen which was actually the address of a weighing machine company office, If you
think there is a connection I might be able to help but we are trying to find out what happened to Henry who does not appear in any death register in the UK.
