Still looking for COLEMANs of St Thomas' Hill / Harbledown, Canterbury, Kent, England - members of the family emigrated to Australia in the 1850s - have found records for their descendents (one of whom is my husband) but would love to know more about them before they left. George Love COLEMAN went to NSW where he married Ellen Frances KEBBLE in 1862. George's parents were Charles COLEMAN and Ellen Catherine CATHROW DISNEY. Many thanks. Alison Sandford MacKenzie

Hi Alison.
my great grandfather was a Robert Coleman, a railway worker and special constable in Ashford at about the turn of the century, but i have no idea when or where he was born.
