Hello, I am trying to find members of my late Fathers Family, His Mother Ethel Carr born about 1895 and belived to come from Chesire, married my Grandfather (Robert Hughes) in April / May / June 1917. They married in Northwich and had a civil Wedding, although my Dad was raised in Liverpool. Together they had 6 children Robert (Bobby) 1919 - 1942 - died at sea. James (Jimmy) 1921 Deceased Edward (Eddie) 1923 Deceased Joesph (Joey) 1925 Elise 1927 Ernest (Ernie) 1929 - 2005 My Dad They were raised Catholic. Sadly my Grandmother left my Grandfather with the children when Dad was about 5, she had 3 other children from a second relationship, I believe they are Peter - Deceased, Leonard and Ethel who moved to America. We are unsure of there surname. Dad did have contact with his mother before she passed away, but as he had moved away fom Liverpool in 1954 lost contact with many of his siblings. Would like very much to know more about about my Family history. Thanks Michelle |
