Hi I am looking for any information on my grandad, George Fredrick Anderson, born April 1918. I believe that he had siblins but I only know of the one sister Ivy Anderson. Grandad married my nan Maggie Foster, nan came from Lancashire area and aunty Ivy married my nan's brother William Foster. My nan and grandad moved to Birmingham where nan ran a corner shop in Bordsley Green, they had my uncle George and my dad Alan. I think that grandad was born in Greenwich but I am not sure. There are rumours in the Foster side of the family that grandad and Aunty Ivy came from Holland/Denmark/Sweden, but my dad and cousen are possitive that they were English born. I would be greatful for any information as I would love to know where the Anderson line came from. Thank you for your time Regards Terri-anne |
