I am Looking for information on my grt Grandmother.Mary booth who was the daughter of joseph sindal booth who was born in south/shields.1815.he was a seaman.joseph wife was known as Mary.Campbeal Hewitt Booth.or margaret.born in scotland.mary married robert johnstone at st michael church in toxteth park liverpool 1867.robert had been married before to a jane caldwell in 1861 in Glasgow.they had 1 child Isabelle.born 1862 in bucks Robert and mary had 5 more children.their names were Robert.b.1869 agnes.b.1871. margaret.b.1877 joseph.b.1878 archiebald.b.1881 i am the grandaughter of margaret.b.1877 |

i am trying to trace my grandmother agnes booth she gave birth to my mother in secret as she was working as a maid or housekeeper in london my mother was brought up by a family named calcott in paddington she(my grandmother) had three bother two were killed in the ist world war and robert was a brother survived |

no it was definatly Calcott as one aunts is still alive my mother was born on the 21st October 1909 and agnes had 3 brothers on my mothers birth cert her mother is down as Agnes Booth and the father was george graham he was a barrack warden at regents park barracks and she was either a ladies maid are house keeper in a big house in london |
