My fatherinlaw, OSWALD JOHN REES,born 1922 in Tonypandy Wales, son of TREVOR REES and BEATRICE MAY REES (nee Morgans), had two sisters JOAN and MARGARET.His parents separated (understand his father went to Canada) and he was raised by his paternal grandparents (Rees Rees, maybe Rhys Rees), his sisters were raised by their maternal grandparents (don't know their names). Oswald was in the merchant navy and left ship in 1950 making New Zealand his new home. He married Eileen in 1952 and they had a son TREVOR REES b 1953, and a daughter Raewyn. Trevor and Sharon married in 1982 and have a daughter, Rochelle Amelia May Rees, b 1984, and a son David Trevor John Rees, b 1986. Would love to make contact with relatives in Wales. Understand Aunty Joan, Mrs Coleman had children Gareth and Patricia. Also Oswald was cousin to Glyn and Donald Houston. Any help with tracing family would be greatly appreciated.
