Trying to research my grand mothers DAWSON family. My 4 x gt grandparents were John and Noami DAWSON,there son Edward David was dob c1856 in yorkshire.He married Sarah Ann Shaw nov 1877 Aline Yorkshire.They had Joseph ,dob feb 1856 Clifton Yorkshire,married Hannah Hawkins,who had 2 girls and 3 boys. Herbert ,dob ?,maried Mary Newton date ?.Died aug 1954 manchester. Owner/manager H DAWSON and Sons manchester and Manager H SEYMORE MEADE and CO manchester. Private M346382 Royal Army Service Corps 1914-18.I am the VERY proud owner of herberts great war medals. Any information would be gratefully received. Many thanks Andy Chapman |
