Hi to all my possible relations I have been lead to believe that my family surname derives from a German Jewish surname that used to be Bruch. When emigrating to England many years ago the 'u' and the 'r' were swapped to sound more British. Can any one reading this shed any light on the subject? Most of my immediate family live in Blackburn in Lancashire and my fathers father was a twin who emigrated to Canada many years ago now. I have no contact with them yet am interested if anyone knows about the Burch's in Canada. Many thanks. Roderick JC Burch
