Hi i'm trying to find information on my great grandfarther. He was born in Kilkenny Ireland around 1850 and the family moved to Cheshire England. He married a Jane Morris from Stockport Cheshire around 1882 and had my granfather Maurice McEvoy. He married Annie Owen and had 7 children. My farther was called Francis McEvoy. I know Francis was a name that was passed on down from other family members so maybe theirs a connection with other McEvoy families with the same name, i'm not sure. Any information would be greatly apprecited. Would love to find out about any McEvoys from Kilkenny. |
