Member Since: May 2007 Posts: 4 Send Message	Barrowden in Northamptonshire is where I beleive Thomas Cook met his wife and subsequently started taking local villagers on temperance rallys among other trips so was the foundation of the thomas cook travel agency there was two familys of Kirbys living in the area has anyone got any info on either family or even both has they did join together when my great great great grandfather Edward married an alice kirby in 1842
